I was just curious how far some of you guys drive into work. And what is your work schedule like, full or part time?

Part time 2 jobs. Both are about 30 minutes away from my home in opposite directions.

Full time, non-medical gig, 22 minutes...

We work a 3/4 12hr blocked schedule. It takes me an hour with no traffic. 1 1/2-2hrs in traffic. I have friends that commute to Kern County(48s) and Vegas (12hr blocked).

Ok makes me feel a little better.. I have an opportunity but the job is 2 hours away for a 12 hr shift only part time.

My commute is in the 3000 mile range. I work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. My company flies me back and forth. Usually 6-8 hours of flying.

And the winner is, Medic Tim!!!

Well, right now I have a 2 hour commute without traffic. 12/24 hour shifts 3/4 split right now during probaion, then 12/24 hour abc straights or kelly. I try and leave 3 1/2 hours of commute time in case of traffic.

Until the end of September? It's about 100 feet. I walk out my door, walk though my back yard, and get to my ambulance.

When I get back to PA, it'll be back to 30+ mile drives to work at my jobs.

360+ miles each way. Depending which route I take

About 25 miles, 45 minutes without traffic. Regular mornings in will take about 1 hr. Bad mornings an hour and fifteen for twelve hour shifts. Then again, it is downtown Atlanta with our ****ty traffic situation so...

First EMT gig: 1 hour and 15 minutes
First non-EMS full time gig: 10 minutes
Second non-EMS full time gig: 5 minutes
Third non-EMS full time gig: 10 minutes
Fourth non-EMS full time gig: 10 minutes
Fifth non-EMS full time gig: 10 minutes

Not yet having a family, I always look for housing close to where I work.

Just over an hour

25 minutes.... 30 on a bad day.... full time, 12 hours days, at least until I can get moved to better and busier station in the heart of the city

I forgot to add, im on shift for.168 hours

Full-time non-EMS: 15 minutes
Part-time EMS: 20-45 minutes (depending on traffic and which station I'm at)

about 20 minutes depending on traffic on US1 and I95

1 hour there, about 1.5 hour back home mon-fri

Depends where Iam assigned to work:
Main EMS: 1 block
2nd Station: 12 miles
