turns out getting back under Height/Weight requirements for the Army, particularly to qualify for Warrant Officer school kinda sucks but I'm working on it lols

You're a fireman in Hawaii... don't you all run on the beach in slow-mo or something like that?

we were just in Hawaii for a week (east Honolulu) and part of me thought it would be a lot of fun to work there. until we saw how busy the engine near our hotel was.... ;-)

Where was your hotel? It's funny, because Honolulu sends Ladders first up for medicals over Engines... most of the multi Company station Engines are far slower than their counterparts lol

I worked at Wing Stop and Baskin Robbins before I became an EMT.

Why send a $500k engine when you can send a $1.5mm ladder?

So the ladder guys can go on a donut run when they clear?

Or it could be something as simple as the ladder has more room for medical equipment

Pretty accurate I'd say.

After a long night at work, I think I should consider implementing a "code Dragon" for the express purpose of alerting all staff when a significant number of us are tired and draggin... Then again, maybe that might not be a good idea as management might get a little upset at us…
