Any EMTs looking for work in Socal? Full-time, $20.81/hr, full benefits. $30.40/hr OT. Hit me up.

SoCal is a bit vague. LA metro?

What's with the secrecy? Who is it for and where is it located?

My guess is a OMR position for Amazon. They have a multiple warehouses in The I.E.

Then post the job link and stop being so secret squirrel. That doesn’t help anyone.

Is it this one? Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln? I just googled and it came up on Indeed

Morongo?
If that’s the case heard the position doubles as security as well. Maybe potential applicants are better off applying to amazon anyways.

For more info, AFAIK, Morongo EMT's no longer provide security as well. At least when I worked for AMR in that area, they would respond to incidents in the casino or hotel and wait for Morongo Fire medics and then AMR to show up. It's not the best experience, but it's decent money.

You are correct tha

So the whole secret squirrel thing is really shady... I could see him wanting to limit information if he wanted to remain anonymous, however, I'm pretty sure his name is Jeff Lawrence... and he works for Morongo Nation casinos as an EMT... but whatever, if I was in SoCal, and was tired of the back to back to back dialysis runs and wanted a change, I would definitely be applying.

However, I do have a couple of questions about the job (and indian casino EMTs in general): since the casinos are sovereign nations, how does that affect your scope of practice? do they provide their own medical director? what type of agency training and orientation do they provide? do they provide you with malpractice insurance? if you get sued, does the casino back you, or are you unable to get sued because it's a sovereign nation? what type of equipment do they provide you with? do you get any sick patients, or just intox and slip and falls? what is the annual call volume, and do you work solo or with a partner? how many calls per shift?
