Hello All,
For my EMS Academy we have to polish our boots.
Does anyone have any experience with polishing boots?
If so, when should I consider to strip and repolish the boots
Cheers!

When they get dirty. Look up YouTube videos for a how to.

This country desperately needs a mandatory military service, and none of that suede boots nonsence...

None. Wear them out, time for new boots.

Amen!! Every able bodied male should report for service.

Here, op. My dad was old skool military. No other proper way to get your shine on...

Buy a Kiwi "shine kit". It comes with 1 large brush, 1 small brush, and one can of black wax/polish.

1) remove massive dirt or whatever debris

2) open the tin of black stuff and lightly wipe the small brush across the surface of the polish. Warning: this stuff stains.

3) apply this light coat onto the leather of your boots, first one, then the other, using that small brush.

4) go back to the first boot. The polish will likely have dried on it already. Use the large brush in a quick back and forth motion with almost no pressure to buff the boot, the repeat with the second boot.

The whole process takes 3-5 minutes and should be done every morning as part of your routine. It is the method my team leader taught me for use on most days. If you spit shine your boots, they will be shiny-er, but you will likely get tired of doing it.
