None of the ambulances I have ever been in have this happen. Computers and radios all stay active.

I don’t know. All of our radio stuff reboots when you start the truck.

Never had that problem. Even when shutting off the rig and the radios turned off, turning back on, they turned back on as well just fine, no issues or need to do anything other than turn the key in the ignition...

Depends on how the power is routed to those items. If it comes straight from an always on power source than this wouldn't be necessary.

We found that keeping radios always powered was problematic if the truck is off and not connected to a shore line.

Our mobile radios have a timer and will shut off after 15 minutes if they’re only on battery power. The real thing that wrecks our batteries are the fridges.

Why would you want the radios to stay on when the truck isnt running? They always boot up fine in any truck ive ever been in
