Hi, I accepted an interview at SeniorCare for the EMT-B position and wondered if it still has the written test? The email said the pre-interview process is only the PAT and a drug screening, but everything I’ve seen online also mentions a written exam. If the email didn’t state there will be one do I have anything to worry about? Or are they allowed to not warn me about a written exam? I am too afraid to email them and ask because I’m afraid they may take my internet search the wrong way. Thanks!

It’s not a problem I just get nervous if I don’t know what to expect

if they say it's a PAT and a drug screen, expect that. if they throw in a written exam, take the exam too (that is to validate that you know the baseline material of an EMT).

Are they ALLOWED to give you a written exam? absolutely. an employer can do whatever they want (within reason and the bounds of the law). it's a little sketchy (the hiring process should be transparent, from end to end), but it's not illegal.
