Rescue One Ambulance located in Paramount, CA is currently hiring full time and part time EMT drivers. We are looking to fill positions immediately! If you are in the Los Angeles area and are interested, please email our office manager at jaxb.roa@gmail.com for more details.
 
I agree. major red flag when the office manager's email address is a Gmail ones. It's 2019, if your company is still using a free email a service, than it screams either scam or fly by night operation.

Also a lack of a website is a second red flag, along with a lack of a phone number to call the company, salary information, work schedule for full time employees, or job description. I think I'll pass on this one; too many red flags.

Disclaimer: my former chief used his AOL account for everything. it was on his business card, and it worked fine, until we got a new chief, and had to updated EVERYONE with the new email address. I've finally got him to publicize the department email address; but he still forwards it to his gmail, and sends email from gmail. baby steps.....
 
Thank you for your comments. I can gladly provide more information. We are a reputable non-emergency ambulance company that opened its doors in 2009. You can find us on indeed, google and yelp. We are working on getting a website up however it is not a top priority at this time. Once we get the domain for the website, we will have emails linked to it. If you would like to discuss the details on the job further you can either email Jax or call our main line at 877-421-1801.

Emergency Medical Technician (Current Employee) – Paramount, CA – August 7, 2018
This job offers no raises, the dispatch is indecisive about schedules. For example, way too many times, they scheduled me for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and without a 24 hour notice, nor a phone call, my schedule was shiftted to 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. The CEO is very unprofessional along with his dispatch staff.

the rest of the reviews look like they were set up or paid to place such a review for ratings.

Little taco truck companies have websites. You're telling us that having website for your prospective employees or customers isn't a top priority? From an outsiders point, it looks like unless you have a horrible internal operations that you're overhauling to the point where you cant even hire someone to make a website, your "priorities" are mixed up.
 
Especially if you have been in business for 10 years...

I am guessing that Rescue one is owned by Armenians, i would avoid it. edit: in la they run 10 units. Don't appear to have any new units
 
Our job listing is still on Indeed. I am not sure why you would think it is pulled.
The owner is definitely not Armenian.
We may be a small company but that does not mean our standards for our service and what we expect from our employees isn't high.

fair enough. Still, not having a website or professional email addresses for business communication in 2019 is a major red flag for many people, myself included.

I worked for an agency that staffed 1 ambulance 12 hours a day 5 days a week, and they had a website.... It wasn't anything exciting, but it helped convey that they weren't a fly by night shady operations.

But your right, you have been around for 10 years, if staying off the grids works for you, more power to you.
