have you checked Google first?

yes, I have, but I have not found anything.

No no no.

Go to OCC or MCC. Or Baker.

They are 3mnths long. I did OCC and it was a terrific program. I can tell the difference with thd students I precept too.

I don't know the schools just showing the ease of finding with a simple google search.

I found some of these myself, but I could not tell how long they were, plus, some were too expensive.

Go to a community college. U can get financial aid.

Don't go to a 2month school

Got that right why waste your time? There are a number of 2-4 week ones out there.

Don't go to those even more than the reasons not to go to a 2month one, Go to a semester long one.

Why? A 110 hours is a 110 hours no matter how long you stretch it out. It's not like they are studying rocket science.

I got my EMT-Basic at Oakland Community College's EMT-Basic Academy in the summer and thought it was a great program. They offer traditional semester-long courses during the academic school year. In the Detroit area I think you'll find any college EMS program, whether OCC, MCC, or Baker College EMS, will be a better experience than private training.

Here are some other options, though from my experiences they aren't as comprehensive and reputable as community college programs:

Michigan Academy of Emergency Services
Community EMS' Life Support Training Institute (LSTI)
Medstar Education
Huron Valley Ambulance's Center for EMS Educationhttps://www.baker.edu/departments/healthsci/EMS/ems.cfm

Good luck!

uhhhh, what? you think it is ok to scrunch that many hours in such a short time and expect any quality to come of it?

Numerous programs do quality condensed education courses, and not just in EMS. Again emt is not rocket science.
