Many years ago, long before 911, a neighboring VFD went out on a run in the middle of the night. I leaned over to listen to the call. I couldn't hear what the responding unit said, but the Chief, who was dispatching, said, "Hey! Cut out that squirrely s*it on the fire radio!"
Yep, I've seen more than one wonder why we stopped them from spraying water on a burning transformer. Sometimes, ya just gotta pull yer head outta yer @ss, that's why!
I don't care to use it; I just wonder what your beef is with this thread, when it specifically states it's 100% directionless. If you don't like it, don't read it.
I never claimed a feeling of euphoria; I said it made me tired and zapped the energy out of me. I went on to say that, if taken together with Tussionex, which has codiene in it, it would be lights out for me.
I don't believe I've ever posted any info about myself. I was a volunteer firefighter for 32 years, retiring last January due to ill health. I was a First Responder for 18 of those years. I still attend the monthly meetings as much as possible, just to stay in touch. A scanner runs in my den...
It knocks me on my butt, but works super. I'd probably sleep like a baby (or be comatose) taking both at once. Now maybe 60 mg of Prednisone to offset the sleepiness.....
84 straight, and then her relief didn't show? How did she function? When I was still a volly firefighter, we pulled a string of all-nighters, and managed to get 8 hours of sleep spread over 4 nights. The 5th day, my understanding boss sent me home with orders not to come back until I'd had at...
Just my opinion, but a siedarm in a holster is NOT secure if the pt has a free arm. No firearm is secure as long as it is in custody of the pt. I'm not in favor of forcibly removing it, either, but force is better than death, especially if it were mine. Always try "BS'ing" it away from him...
My question to you, based on the scenario above, where the pt is down, arterial blood spurting from a leg wound-How do you suggest a pt with a pistol in a holster secure the gun any more safely than to turn it over to you? Many holsters are "snap flap" whereby the entire holster can be snapped...
I really couldn't tell you; I've just heard that there was a tablet form as well. If all they wanted to do was to increase appetite, just give them Prednisone; it's put about 40 pounds on ME. Makes me want to go out and gnaw the bark off the trees.
I am now retired/disabled, due to severe medical issues. I was a volunteer firefighter/First Responder for 32 years, and worked full-time in the school bus industry for 32 years as well. Advanced from detail draftsman to National Sales Manager and Director of Engineering positions
