That is the website I used to review for my exam as well, I believe it actually helped me quite a bit and I passed my exam without any issues.
Your Trini, eh? My fiancé is also from Trinidad and Tobago, very beautiful country and lots of culture! All this talk about Trinidad is making me...
Since you already went through the trouble you could have fixed his spelling as well. Also, "I" is always capitalized when it stands alone.
And Jack, I absolutely agree with emt.dan about proper spelling and grammar making you come across as a lot more professional.
Best of luck with your...
You have until Dec. 2012 before you need to take either a refresher course if you are currently licensed through your state, or re-take the course if you never got certified at all.

When it came to my exam, I decided it wasn't necessary for me to spend money to subscribe to one of these learning websites. What I ended up doing was flash cards of key terms in the book and doing the chapter exams on www.emtb.com.
I don't know what jb learning is like, but I am sure if you...
One thing that is very important when taking this test is to simply relax and take your time. I have yet to hear of a person that took this exam and came anywhere close to the time running out on them.
What helped me prepare for the exam was making flash cards of some of the major key terms...
From my understanding, if your state has less hours than the state you are trying to challenge, then you need to make up the difference. As to what type of course they use I am not, may be as simple as a refresher course.

Also, aren't you already part of a local organization? Based on a previous post of yours, it definitely made it appear...
Last time I checked, the greater Miami-Dade area (which includes City of Miami) has a 1.5+ year waiting list for medics. The official policy for most of the Fire Rescue departments in the area is usually opening recruitment every 2 years or so. A few of my friends graduated from medic school...
I am in the same boat as you... My fiancée is currently working in the Caribbean at a consultant firm, so I had been seriously considering putting my studies on hold and moving there for a bit to save up some money. I love working in the fire department, but much like you they will not let me...
I am a NJ EMT who had to take the NREMT in order to challenge for Florida cert, my little sisters friend rides for a Fire Department down there so I was gonna check it out since I spend a huge junk of time in FL.
I am a bit confused about the NR re-cert. Do I have to do the 72hr CE as well...
