How many folks work 120 hours every two weeks?

One 24 on, then 48 off?

I work 12's alternating Wed Th-Sat 1800-0600

A search will show many discussions about EMS shifts.

Our staff schedule is a modified Kelly shift. One 24 hour on and one off for a tour of three then 4 days off (10 days a month).

R/r 911

Three 12hr shifts a week + one Saturday a month. Anything over 40 hrs is OT. All special events or standby's are as an independant contractor @$36 per hour for Paramedics, $27 per hour for EMT's.

4 11.5s a week, total scheduled 46 hours per week. I've not yet had a check that was less than 100 hours (2 weeks) unless I took a day off.

24/48's here. After getting used to the schedule, I love it!

Same as Rid, XOXOXOOOO. Back at CCEMS they had both a 24/48 no kelly's, and 12's as XXXOOXXOOO.

A 24/48 averages at 56 hrs/wk on a yearly basis.

A busy third service agency has no business having their employees working in excess of 16 hours/day. It's dangerous.

I feel sorry for those who are getting jacked by agencies that are paid on call only during the evening hours of a 24. Any time that you're required to alter your lifestyle for work puproses, such as being on call at home, or POC, ought to be compensated at some level, either as a stipend, or an increase in hourly wage. That time that you must be available could be spent working another job, after all.

re

regular schedule is 72 on, 96 off.

All the private services locally run 3 or 4 twelves a week

I work 120 every two weeks.

I work two 24s and a 12 each week, for 60 hours weekly.

The only thing I can kinda complain about is that my partners change in the middle of my 24, so I work with four different people. I liked working with a regular partner, but also value the things I'm learning from working with multiple partners.

regular schedule is 72 on, 96 off.

Wow, that's as bad as a DoD FF schedule of 48/72! I hope you're making well in excess of 100k/yr, as you're spending more than 42% of time at work.
