Since we are facing a pandemic. Some of us decided to just stay at home. What do you do to avoid your boredom?

Work overtime. Play with my kids... And hang out with my wife, which is why we're expecting another kid 😜.

Learn how to play an instrument. I play just about everything with strings, skins, or keys. Music is the best therapy out there.

Worked our way through entire series on Netflix and other streaming apps. Blacklist, Walking Dead, Ozark, Teen Wolf. My wife even managed not to kill me while pointing out ridiculousness in Chicago Fire. In that vein, 9-1-1 is next on the list. She may have watched the entirely of Gilmore Girls at least twice when I've been at work as well.

Movies, Youtube, books; free time for me is at work cause staying home isn't an option.
I have been averaging 48-72 hours of OT every 2 weeks since October.

watch TV. youtube. podcasts. sleep. read comic books. study for career-advancing certifications. partake in the dumpster fire that is social media. exercise (although since it's been getting darker sooner, I haven't done this as much as I should have).

I've also built a drill rack for drills/drivers/saw/tire inflator and chargers, because I got sick of having them just thrown on a shelf in a mess.

While on shift, my two ways to kill boredom is to sleep or do homework, when I was taking classes at the local CC. now I'm studying for my CISSP exam; hopefully I can take that test sometime in 2021

Kill stuff. Well sorta, I have my own range. Read, hang out on some outdoor thing forums.

Nice! Good luck on your studying and I wish that you can pass the exam :)
