What is the best online place to buy BDU pants?

lol BDU pants?

Try searching for EMT pants instead might have better luck ;)

I hate when I see people looking for battle dress uniforms.

Why are BDUs a problem? I wear BDU pants at work, NOT specific "EMT pants". I think BDUs are more comfy, don't have the goofy EMT tool pockets and when I thrash em, I can chuck em. 20 bucks at my local Army/Navy store.

No lol

I hate em.

I am biased

They are not really good for weather from my experience from being in NJROTC

I also think BDU is used as a generic term, same as Band Aid and Kleenex.

BDU is a pants style, originally developed for the Military's Battle Dress Uniform (hence the name). They come in multiple colors and/or patterns. Just like jeans. Not all of them are blue. Lol.

To address the OP; I like Propper BDU pants. They can be had at many online shops. Just Google Propper BDUs. Or go here.

5.11, proper, truspec all make great BDUs the 5.11 i think are the most comfy, followed by the tru-spec then the proper. proper however are the cheapest that i have found.

Most of mine are Propper Public Safety something-or-other. They get the job done and I like 'em.

Just bought a pair of Tru-Spec EMT BDUs for under 40 from Chief Supply. Used a coupon and had free shipping.

Haven't we had a few threads on this before?

5.11 pants are great. They're $45. I also get along just fine with the pairs of blue Galls uniform pants that I picked up on clearance for $4. Actually, I get along better than fine - they're quite good.

Another EMS pant that's gotten a lot of love here in the past are those from Aspen Mills: http://www.aspenmills.com/pages/pants.html

You'll need to call for pricing and to place an order, since they do not have an online order form. If I recall correctly, their prices are roughly ~$40 for EMS-1, ~$50 for EMS-2, and ~$60 for PMT.

I've owned a few pairs of EMS-2 pants over the years; I always got mine with the 3/4-inch Scotchlite silver reflective trim on the cargo pocket flaps (an extra $2 per pair, if I remember right). They were very comfortable yet very durable as well; the older pairs I own are still quite serviceable, I just don't wear them anymore because my waist shrunk and they'd fall right off.

****ies Makes some "EMT Pants" they sell them on amazon here:
http://www.amazon.com/****ies-211-2...6TTM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1292105463&sr=8-4

they have two colors: Navy Blue, and black

i have two pairs of them and they are one of the most comfortable pants ive worn!

and ive washed them every week for about 8 months now and the color still hasn't begun to fade!

and they have pockets-a-plenty!

I have 5.11 pants that my company supplys us with and i love them expecially the pockets down near the ankles, put some gloves on one side and i keep my wallet in the other side.
