General Sick Call....Oh crap...Gramma's having a HUGE MI!

Out of service....Go to different truck....

GSW...."unconsciousbutbreathing" he flew
GSW... tnt right hip....he hollered and yelled...to the ed
GSW.... unconscious, agonal.... he flies too
GSW.....lucky flesh wound...as we were loading this one, with PD on scene......shooter shows up and starts shooting again....Medic says various swear words followed by get us out of here!

Ok...thats it...I am done. I am going to bed. This sucks...

And we were...didn't get another one all night....morning....whatever...long.

On the bright side....The sun was shining so beautifully all day long today!

Crazy!

Around here the pee test and paperwork would have taken a whole shift. You got to go back in service and save lives? Awesome! :)

Let's not visit Princess' side of Florida when we get together for the EMTLife Gathering okay? :P

Sounds to me like Princess is working far to far away from a Level 1 rauma center...and/or they really like to call the helicopter...as some of my co-workers like to do on a DAILY basis...(fly as a CVA, turn out to be a low bgl, etc)

Sounds like a lot of drama...

Princess, you're the only person I know who could find a bright side if you were trapped in a dungoen filled with :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: .

Anyone heard from Jon today...???? I'm just wondering if he's got a splitting headache...

I'm fine.. thanks.

So... Princess - Do they issue you guys body armor? 'cause you sound like you need it...

Kip? Time for a "scene safety" lecture ;)

Naa...things aren't normally bad. That was just a bad night in then north end of the county.

There are no Level 1's anywhere near us. There are 2 Level 2's 2 counties away. At least an hour by ground. So most bad traumas fly.

Yea, we were out of service for the pee test and truck swap for about an hour. The paperwork is done as we have time. Our shift commander catches up with us as they can. Gotta have trucks up ya know.
