Everyone complains about the Zoll X series printer. How often are you printing? I occasionally printed a 12 lead if I needed to see something up close, but that was rare. Everything else just imported to ESO.

I love the X series and greatly dislike the LP15, but my current service is all about them and there are bigger hills to die on
We had no way to synch to AMR Meds with the X, so for years until the city mandated ESO we printed everything. Even now I still would rather examine an EKG on paper. The cloud based upload is not fast enough to use our toughbooks for interpretation. System wide it’s a cultural no no to use the screen to intreprept, this dates back to when we were using MRx monitors. Is this actually something to get hung up on? I dunno, it’s just what I do now. You can always tell who the medics are in the room when the EKG gets printed and a lil powwow happens over it.

Our Lifepaks have modems that upload very fast, but the printer on the LP is great so I only upload at the end of calls.

Our monitors don't load to the EPCR, and we can't transmit to the hospitals (used to but the hospitals stopped it).
So we print 12 leads, stop the ambulance, take a picture of it with our phone. Then text it to the hospital

The more technology improves things, the more it seems like we're going backwards. Lol

That’s crazy.
