Newberry County EMS is a progressive hospital-based EMS service located 45 miles northwest of Columbia, SC. We serve a population of 40,000 people in a 600 square mile area that is predominantly rural. NCEMS responds to 6000 calls annually.
We have an immediate opening for a night time 12 hour paramedic. Shifts are 2000-0800 and rotate Week 1: M, Tu, Fri / Week 2: Sat, Sun, Wed, Thu. Competitive salary with night and weekend shift differential. Paid time off, paid Continuing Education Program, 401k, uniforms, very progressive and liberal treatment protocols, excellent equipment and many other perks.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain a SC Paramedic credential (National Registry reciprocity), acquire and maintain AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass an extensive background check.
