It’s called the Zenix and it has a touchscreen and a knob/dial like the Lifepak. (WTF! They listened)

Same basic size as an X series, which will still be produced, and has a redesigned printer, better capnography and some other really nice features.

Looks pretty awesome. I only saw the flyer and wasn’t allowed to take pics or keep it. However, somebody on Reddit has a bunch more info.

Saw the post on Reddit, read what I could find online, and was really impressed!

What shocked me was the number of people hating on it for it's simplistic, toy-like design. I guess they're the same ones that miss the old school bare metal stretchers and ambulances without chevrons on the back.

Hey, hey, hey…I miss my four patient rig.

Where does the capno plug in? Hopefully I know soon, we’re signed up to demo. Could be a while though.

It’s on the side. It now turns on as soon as you plug it in, but it’s massimo capno, not oridion.

The pouches aren’t a separate case like the current version, they “click lock” directly to the device.

Is it easy to plug the capno in?

I like Zoll stuff but full time employers have always had Lifepaks. Our 15s are due to be replaced (six) as are the Autopulses (four). Hoping we do a good job with this evaluation.

Yes. I’m a Zoll fan. I bought them at my previous service to replace a fleet of aging MRx monitors and at my current agency to replace lifepak 15s.

The Zoll vs Stryker debate is the same as Ford vs Chevy. You’ll never change anybody’s mind.

As long as it works and (at least the AED part of it) is intuitive to use, the end users can be taught the buttonology. I would consider it a bonus if the device is basically firefighter-proof... or at least firefighter-resistant. 😂
