I am a new beginner to this Emt-B stuff and I was with a Paramedic group when a person was coded on

What would you do in my situation, Someone coded on you and your just a Student and Begginer and just trying to learn. They were struck by a vehical while running across a street, your first on scene but help.is on the way. What would you do to help out?
 
CPR. Control bleeding if there is any. Did the paramedics not know what to do again or how to treat this patient?
 
Make sure 911 has been activated and provide first aid.

No they were still on their way to the scene, We will start CPR. The Paramedics are on their way to it, He was bleeding from the mouth and ears, We don't know where he was stuck front, back or side!
 
Technically, do compressions

But a blunt traumatic arrest is usually a pronouncement
 
For a small, volunteer department they sure have a lot of high acuity calls.

Seems like a really dangerous place to visit. Especially since the town is in denial ... not a single mention of fatal pedestrian accidents, stabbings, or critically burned children in the local paper ...
