The weather!!

What were you all thinking?
On second thought, dont answer that.

So how is the weather where everyone is? B)
Its humid here. Makes everything feel damp. I've got the air on and fans everywhere. I love it when I can't feel my nose and then its 90 outside. I get chills when I go to get the mail. For the next 6 days we either have scattered thunderstorms or a chance of thunderstorms. I hope it rains all week. I like the rain and thunderstorms. :)

Its raining here in California.... In June. I am so confused!

Well not as confused as some of the drivers crashing on the roads here today...

Cool and dry here in the desert of WA.

It's been in the high 80s here in Michigan.

On Sunday we had a storm and a power surge. Everything survived but the air conditioner, and it won't be until Friday until the guy can come out and fix it. It was a close call whether I was going to sleep in the car tonight :)

Here's a radar map where you can pick your locale'

lots of green blobs, it's the red blobs that cause trouble....

that's all you really need to know about the weather anyways, anybody else here watch it on tv with the sound off? :P

Well the National Hurricane Center has named it's first topical storm of the year. TS Arlene is brewing out there and we here in Sarasota will probably get some strong gusty winds out of it. Other than that it's been raining pretty much every day for the last week or so. At times its sunny and not a cloud in the sky. 30 minutes later you start thinking about building an arc.

Same here in Orlando these past few days and future week. Right now, 9:05, it's awesome out! Not a cloud in the sky, look at weather.com for 32835 and it's supposed to be storming by noon. UGH

Been raining all week here with spontaneous bursts of sunshine. B)

Lets see her today it is cloudy with chance of rain/storms tonight.

We had some really strong winds, thunderstorms last weekend that ended up with the threat of a tornado and hail got a ding on my car from that cuz I was working at the hosptial and wasn't home being safe and sound. Sounds like this weekend it is suppose to do the same type of weather. Although I don't know how much rain places around here can handle. Lots of farmers are flooded out to. Other than that we have had some hot warm days, with some humidity. B)

I was worried about what the topic was going to be, v.s. the title..

It was 99.4 yesterday afternoon. The central air doesn't work, so I called Lowes Hardware 'superstore' to check the prices. It cost about 1,500 less to buy an air conditioner for every room, than to buy a new Trane AC unit. So I bought eight. So for 200 extra they installed them b/c I seem to be unable to stand, at the same time as holding a 200lb AC.

Hi 80's-low 90s, sunny, humid with T-storms every afternoon. As the jet stream blows, Vermont is only a couple of days from Wisconsin. What your weather is today, we will probably get on Saturday.

Same here, all week.

We had a nursing home we nearly evacuated Monday becuase their AC was out Monday and Tuesday for repair... luckly they found some portable cooling options....

NWS/NOAA Just confirmed we had a F0 .. Thats F-ZERO. Tornado on Monday..

And boy did it get freaky outside!

We averange about 5 or 6 F2 or F3 tornados on the news a year, I think... usually 2-3 at a time.

Jon

So do we Jon, we just started tornado season. All week long it has either been stormy, dark, and yucky, or just plain hot. I think it got up to the 100's this week.

Well TS Arlene didn't cause too much trouble for us. It rained a lot and the wind kicked up a time or two. The county next to us got two tornadoes and a waterspout came ashore on one of the keys. Been nice and sunny the rest of the weekend.

104 to 115 depending where you are standing here in lovely Egypt. ( Pyramids,Nile River). Haven't seen rain in 8 months. Wonder why???? Maybe cuz I live in the desert? Nah, couldnt be.

Town I live in took the biggest hit off of TS Arlene. Winds at 60 MPH for a little over an hour. No real property damage. Some people lost shingles, a few trees down, even more beach errosion. We did have a few Tornados though.

Not to bad. I have been calling it out "Practice Hurricane" all weekend. For some reason, people seem to think since Ivan kicked our butts last year we should be immune this year...
