Hypothetically, where in the US of A is persay the easiest system to get employement with? I hear that FDNY is a high turnover place for example? Just curious to hear what people around the states have to say.

Probably the volunteer systems are the easiest to get into.

That or a paid system servicing a rural or remote area.

I can find you plenty of 911 jobs for ALS and BLS in locations, where people just don't want to move to, or don't like the pay rate.

Many 911 ALS providers in Central CA are hiring and relatively easy to get hired by.

We just declared a staffing emergency.

We don't hire EMT-Bs though.

The easiest ones are the ones that are hiring.

It's pretty easy to get hired by ambulance companies in SoCal. Just have to wait until they start hiring.

off topic, but that means what exactly? More forced overtime, more running crews into the ground, cancelling or denying vacations, and more management with their heads in the sand pretending they don't have a problem?

Typically staff is a supply and demand issue. there are always jobs, but some are better than others. maybe your company needs to pay more? if they are losing good people to other jobs, they should be doing exit interviews to see why these people won't be staying. maybe it's poor supervision, poor benefits compared to elsewhere, poor equipment, or poor working conditions.

either way, it's a management issue that the staff usually bear the brunt for management's failing.
