Good move for Gerber... since they are expected to lose their 911 contract with Torrance Fire in October. Hopefully no one loses there job.

Just bought Gerber ambulance in torrance ca. They have 1 911 contract along with 1 ift contract. Interesting to see how big falck gets on the west coast

I hear that Santa Monica Fire is requesting a new BLS provider and the contract will soon be open for bidding and that Fire offered it to the former ambulance provider Gerber ? Any truth to this ? I think Americare is the current provider ?
