    Sounds like a good idea to me, especially if its a factory or distribution center etc., I dont think it should have to be EMT, i know most states have a level just under EMT and above basic first aid, close enough to EMT just with a few less skills under the scope of practice.

    Go on galls and check out the contents of their bags, that will give you a decent idea of the most basic supplies, as for anything else, get what makes sense or you think there's a chance of using. Go to local EMS service or FD and check out a rescue truck or an ambulance

    Online EMT cert?

    my suggestion would be to take a regular Basic class. I have a good grasp on my current skills bt, two weeks really couldnt even scratch the surface IMHO. Its up you though, if you think you could learn in that amount of time GO FOR IT!, whatever your decision Good luck.

    I also wear gloves for almost every PT, not only for my safety but there safety too. Working a shift you can end up in contact with lots of bacteria etc. Just glove up and save the trouble.
