Hey all,

I am just starting EMT school, hopefully on my way to an Associate's of Health Sciences (Paramedic). Just finishing my first semester of core classes (A&P, Med Term, Psych), and I am really fired up about this career path!

I am in my forties, and have spent 11 years in another industry. I have always admired the EMS personnel, and secretly wanted to be a Paramedic. Life is short, so here I go.

It makes me happy to know that a lot of the paramedics on the street are there because they want to be there and want to make a difference.
