Welcome to the madhouse.... I would check around your local PD. Around here we have FD medics do stand-by. My local PD has one SWAT member that is AEMT trained and are putting him through Paramedic School. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask... all of us are more than willing to help.

Tuesdays-30min on elliptical and 5 min on stair climber.
Thursdays-30 min on elliptical, biceps,back,lats and triceps.
Saturdays-30 min on elliptical, calves,glutes, quads.
I also go on Sundays occasionally.... depends if im in the mood or how big...
I have studied Tae-Kwon-Do in elementary school for a few years... but as I got older i studied White Crane Gung Fu for 2-3 years, Kickboxing for most of my highschool years and while i was in the Army I studied Ju Jitsu.... I am looking to get back into Martial Arts very shortly.
You will never find a stethoscope that will block out 100% of all ambient noise. I would suggest trying out a stethoscope before you buy.... ie, borrow a friends. good luck i hope you find one you enjoy.
