Here in TN emts can start ivs... we run emt/ medic trucks so once my partner goes up front to drive I have to do everything... no fun compression devices here... its nice to have help when you can get it but alot of times your it... you do the best you can

around where im at is close to kentucky and tennessee line...i know at least air evac requires duel certs in tn and ky...aint for sure about the other two air services but i assume they do to

tennesse.. of course im a little bias....lol

If your reason to become a medic is so you can start lines, push drugs, and shove tubes in peoples throats then you might need to rethink this a little.

Were allowed to do them at my home service here.....although we have gotten away from it and went to needle crics. It is still in our protocols and we are still inserviced on both though.

Trauma: Life in the ER is shooting new episodes. Most of the counties around here got a letter about it telling us what was going on and if we were shown on the epsiode we would have to sign a waiver. I was transporting a pt. to Vanderbilt a couple of weeks ago and they were taping. B)

Ok...were about to order new cric kits for all of our units....old ones are going outa of date and boss asked me to find the kit we wanted. Who makes the best kit? Recommendations please! Thanks

I passed mine with 150 questions...and i know another in my class passed with 150. I was in Porky1's class that just finished up last week.
