so I'm an EMT-B at a theme park and we give out things like bandaids and 4x4s all the time the park just supplies them and eats the cost. But we keep some pretty serious ALS equipment on site and I was wondering if we ever had to use any of that equipment for an emergency would the park collect the insurance information from the guest and bill them or would some Liability insurance the park holds cover it? Also what about serious but little things like we keep a few epi-pens in stock and well if we used one would the park charge the guest. Does anyone know the answers to this.

Uhhh, how about you ask the management staff at the park? No one here is going to know the answer but my guess is no they will not charge

I truly don't understand this thought process. You have a question about your organizations policies and practices; so you come to a message board populated by people who don't work for this organization to ask it.

Sure, we can guess and maybe we get it right; but you could simply go to your boss and ask and get the right answer the first time guaranteed....

I own a service that provides event EMS. We have a pretty fairly large stock of ALS gear, we don't bill. It's just part of the cost of doing business.
