Hate to say it, and know there has been a huge spike in them in the industry but, another A-Star....... Will be interested in the prelim report as always once it's available. In the meanwhile, I will stick to my twin.

This would be extremely troubling if that turns out to be the case. Essentially would mean no NVG's were being utilized and radar altimeter was not set appropriately.... Weather doesn't appear to be a factor.

True, but a survivable crash followed by a non-survival fire is definitely the worst way to go IMO.
