Where to look for jobs

So i`m am almost done with medic school... I`m going to try to get NR as soon as i pass my state exam. After that I will be looking for work. How hard is it to get a job out of state. I`m living in FL right now. Is there websites that list departments/ems agencies out there? I will be looking all over the east coast for jobs...

You could check the EMSC job page. Lists all the companies it owns that are hiring (AMR and all the smaller companies they've absorbed). Looks like there's a lot of medic hiring on the east coast.

monster.com, hotjobs, local newspaper classified section, etc, etc.

and there is always contacting local agencies and seeing if they have positions listed under the employment section of their websites.

Go county by county in each state and apply to counties or cities that you want to work. For example, I was looking for an EMS dept, in the south, near the coast, not in FL, and this is what I found:

You want to work for Wake County NC? Just do this and follow their application directions:

These two sites took me a minute or two each to find. Just search areas you like, find out what the county or city is called, go to their homepage, and do an employment search. You have to do the work.
