I have been looking everywhere but I can not figure out which one is used as the basis for classes and testing etc. I need to get a head start on making study material because I'm going to be very busy working while taking the class in a few months (paying off debt). Is this something that varies by class? Would all/most AEMT courses have a standard text due to standardization of testing?

Not sure if this helps but course info states: "Upon successful course completion, students will be eligible to sit for the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services, EMT-Intermediate as well as the National Registry of EMT’s, Advanced EMT credentialing examinations."

Yeah, they all teach to the DOT curriculum. A current Brady or AAOS text would be fine.

But wait to find out which text your class will be using.
