Subway and Busses have been bombed in London with multiple fatalities.

Just when things were settling down, finally getting back to normal. It is strange though, just a few days I saw at least 15 army helicopters throughout the day. It made me wonder if things were going to get bad again...

I have a sneaking suspicion that whoever won the Olympic bid was going to get attacked... now I'm happy NY didn't get it, although I'm pissed as all heck that these cowards would do something like this. I say kill 'em all, big & small.

I'm with you on that one.

Four coordinated bomb attacks, SKY News: 45 dead, 150 serious injuries, 1000+ other injuries.

Jeez, they just showed footage on NBC of London EMS giving CPR to a bloodied and dead bombing victim.

I've said that all along, but everyone else says, "what about the women and children?"

They are the ones that are doing alot of this crap! I say, screw them.

The Britts have a history of this sort of thing, and as much as it sucks they have great resolve and won't be shaken. That said, what gain is there for the 'terrorists' in even trying? The G8 meets & the Olympics will go on, and they will have gained nothing....

Personally I won't be sucked into the fear response they, or the rad righties are trying to sell me today

Easy. You just don't lead them as much!

I figure one good thing will come of this, and that is that goerge junior will get his toy war took away from him. The brits I think will come in and kick *** quickly rather than simply set up a war to finish up what a daddy couldnt get done.

Very good point Steve-o,,lol,,maybe this will help with the crying countrys saying "waaaahaaaaa USA is bad for trying to fight terrorists",,,I dont like war but sometimes ya have to whoop arce to get things done. The faster we end the terrorists lil lives the better we all are.....Side note....lol@you dont have to lead them as far,,dang..lol,,,morbid but funny as heck

well EMTI&RESCUE,
you want to end terrorism?

1st stop fraternizing with the prime sorce, the Saudi's, which sponsor the greater % of it all. They are responsible for the most insurgents, as well as majority of 9/11 highjackers.

i doubt the English response will be that of Spain after the Madrid incident, which in a terrorists mind justified the London followup... we need collectively cut to the chase here...

all nations could simply refuse to do biz with the Saud's, a complete embargo, let thier own backwards two tiered society deal with it, or better yet let Bandar Bush and his cronies man thier oil fields....

hit 'em in the wallet, and see how long they last....

2nd, expose the Carlye group for the consortium of traitors they are for involving us in corporo-politico relationship with these screwballs.

These opportunists feed us a lot of jingoistic crap, while raking in the $$$ behind our backs...piped pipers for weak minds....

See.... even from a rad right perspective if we make more enemies than we can kill the equation doesn't work does it?

That'd be a fair start imho, and hey, there might be a few lean oil years, butcha know i'd much rather pay for my oil with $$$ instead of blood...

Good points Steve!

Here is my take on the whole mess.

Osama Bin Laden (sp?) is who the whole mess was started by (9/11) right? Then why in the world were we going after Saddam (sp?) I'll tell you why, Daddy wasn't big enough to take the SOB out when he had a sharp shooter that had him in sight and shooting range. So now that ole Sonny Boy is in office, he has to go clean up what daddy didnt have the gonads to do in the first place. This just happened to be the best way.

Also, I am about ready to go up to the white house and give Baby Bush a piece of my mind. Here we are paying $2.09 per gallon of gas, the economy is down, and we are told that it is all because of the war. WELL, what about the oil reserve that USA is sitting on right now? There is quite a bit there, and completly assanine that we are paying so much for it. Not to mention the fact that there are several places here in OK that have oil bubbeling out of the ground. Why can't we just drill. Bush wasn't my first pick at the throne, but he got it, and we have to deal with it, and I am sure that if anyone else would have been elected we would still be sitting here fussing about the job that they are doing. But, I didn't vote for him, so I am allowed to complain about the whole mess.

You want to dry up the oil money used to finance terrorism?

Then charge them the same price for a bushel of grain that they charge us for a barrel of oil. We'll see whose economy collapes first. Also, it's kinda hard to gather recruits for terrorism if you can't feed them.

Yes, we've got oil in this country. Huge reserves of it in Alaska, the south, and the Black Hills. We're just sitting on it so when the Arabs run out of oil, we won't.

I saw that.... umm... trauma code, likly blunt force.... You NEVER save them.....

I was up at 0500 to get ready for school. I started to hear the news as I got im my car and my morning show went live at 0600 (they play "best of" 0530-0600). I listened the whole way up to my clinical site, then watched fox news all morning.

I don't know what to think. Stevo, though, you hit it head on. Michael Moore is almost right, sometimes (gosh... did I just say that) ;)

Anyhoo...

Jon

Moore's kind of a weenie, thriving on sensationalism....

He has some points, but lacks the depth of true journalism, but then again so does our current media, or you'd all be up on the Downing street report

see....to maintain a power shift of any caliber the powers that be need to fire up a boogyman to keep the nay sayers in line

Let's put it this way, if your not pissed off, your not paying attention....

I never said he was a journalist....

My favroite Michael Moore Miment was in "Team America, World Police" (Need I say more)

IPSC- I'm disappointed in you, "Easy. You just don't lead them as much!" c'mon, point of aim, point of impact, how many f/sec? ;)

Stevo- at the risk of sounding political, and this is just my own opinion, but "we make more enemies than we can kill" isn't the problem, our problem is we make more enemies than we want to kill, we have the ability, we don't have the will. America is still caught in the idea that we want people to like us, so we give massive amounts of money to countries that consistently oppose us, and sponsor our active enemies. The only thing that kept the Roman empire together was the immediate threat of annihilation for their enemies. Love is fickle at best, fear is predictable and can be managed.

Jon- once again, my opinion, so take it for whatever it's worth (it's free), Michael Moore is an absolute truth distorting hack, as well as Al Franken, and the rest of the "Liberal Left." They should be sent to sea, and killed titanic style. But I'm not done yet, Rush Limbaugh, Pat Roberts, and the rest of the "Righteous Right" should be sent to Iraq for a little insurgent re-education, aka cranium removal. Personally, I think that these political "influencers" have done nothing but torn our country apart. I think what should happen is for people to look around, realize that we all have our differences, and we all have our opinions, but we're all american, and that is what makes us strong. I think that these sectarians have done more to destroy the fabric of american freedom than Al Queda ever could. I hope I haven't offended anyone with this little rant, and if it deemed a little too inflammatory by the moderators, I would understand removing it.

stay safe,
luke

i doubt we're able to buy these terrorists off Luke, and i'll agree with you that both left and right are a squabbling mess, but that's because we've the biggest liars to ever hold office leaving them in the dark with no recourse but to do so

terrorism affects us all, especially those of us that will need to respond to it, however it's just the symptom , not the disease that is fixated on

i hear people using the 'kill 'em all' retalliation all the time, but i rarely hear of people questioning the circumstances that led up to such acts

when others run, i'll choose to walk, thanks
