So, I know there's pretty much know chance of me getting hired or insured as a driver due to the speeding tickets on my record and I'm willing to face my past mistakes. However, where should I go to find a company that's actually looking to hire EMT attendants? I live in Los Angeles but I'm willing to drive several hours to find the right gig.

Anywhere but Michigan and California.

Not Michigan because I like to feel somewhat safe on the road, and California is a no because you will not find an EMT job in CA with any kind of negatives against you, because of how oversaturated the market is.

Medlife Ambulance in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, most places dont hire attendants only. BLS rigs at my company switch attendant and driver every call.

Medlife hires attendants only.

He wouldn't find work here in NM. No one hires attendant only

What was that company one poster worked at.

With the pt who had.a 107 degree fever.

It was a bls provider and a driver.

Was that colorado?

Capitol Ambulance in Denver, Colorado. Stay away from there

LifeCare Medical Transports in VA hires BLS attendant only. They will also send you on an out of town up to 12 hours round trip at your EOT, but you take what you can get, I guess.

Don't speeding tickets go away after a few years of driving or at least any points?

Same with NV. No attendant only positions and basics don't work on ambulances unless it's an FD or in the middle of nowhere.
