Plane has crashed into hudson. More to follow

Looks like they were very lucky

0 casualties, 1 very minor injury (crew got cut?). They believe all are accounted for.

Looks like bird strike.

It also looks like the record achieved, 2 years with out a major flight accident i think, is over.

Amzing job for the pilot. However I hate to fly and that right there would be the reason. I drove from MI to OR just so I would not have to fly.

155 pax and crew all rescued safely; huge kudos to the flight crew!

Truly unbelievable airmanship by the crew, great evacuation by the flight attendants, quick response by the ferries, and it seems like EMS was well organized. I'm really not sure you can ask for anything better.

Ask any aviation expert and they will struggle to find a successful ditching of a modern airliner in the past 50 years. Not only was this successful, but with no reported deaths and only minor injuries.

Wow.

I agree, that's some slick piloting to have everyone get away alive. Kudos to the pilot, the crew, and all the rescuers that really jumped to help everyone out. In the modern day I'm surprised the ferries didn't charge all of the passengers they transported to safety.

Not an airliner, but still a successful ditching. Unfortunately, the ditching is the only thing the dumba$$ pilot got right. This one was sheer stupidity.............
