moving from FL to NC, job situation?

i currently live in miami, fl but will be moving to NC in about 6 months or so. Does any one have any experience or any information about particular stations or areas that i should look into for employment, or any information about the job situation in nc at all? thanks!

Look into MEDIC Mecklenburg EMS agency in Charlotte.

most likely near the charlotte area. not exactly city center, but in one of the neighboring small towns. so anything around there...

WakeMed has a great transport team. Wake County EMS and MEDIC Mecklenburg EMS both great EMS systems. I would find a job, then move to area that is around the job. Not the other way around in this economy.

thanks for the heads up, i'll look into both. quite frankly im just getting started in my training. just trying to plan ahead. i'll look into all of those though.. any other suggestions?
