I know you all are thinking, WHAT?? She is alredy married, and you are correct, but when Matt and I got married, we just ran to the courthouse and jumped right in. Well we are going to do it right now. Kind of like we are starting over. Let me tell you the story.

The other night we went to the city (about 40 mins away from here) and picked out some new furniture. On the way back we were talking about dinner, I mentioned a place, and he agreed. Well, we passed the resturant, and I asked what was going on. He told me that he wanted to look at something first. We ended up at the mall. He drug me around the entire 2nd level of the mall, and then he pulled me into Helzburg Diamonds. He looked at me and told me to pick out my bridal set, whatever I wanted. He then looked at the girls behind the showcase and told them to show me whatever I wanted. I was so excited. I found a ring that I liked, but wanted to change a few things about it, so I called Zales in our hometown, and they determined that they can make it! YEAH!!!!! So, over the course of the next few months, I am going to need your help in making the plans for my big day! I have alredy picked out some of the attire, and I will be posting pictures for you to see as time progresses. We haven't set a date yet, just as soon as we do something will go wrong, so we are going to figure things out and when a date looks as if it will work, we will set it then.

Right now I am looking at music. We will definatly have some live music at the reception, and I have alredy picked out a few songs, but I need some more. Any ideas??

I have..............
Broken Road by Rascal Flatts: first dance of Bride and Groom
I Melt by Rascal Flatts: just a dance for Bride and Groom
Waterfall by Rascal Flatts: Father Daughter dance
Butterfly Kisses: this is the song that will play when Daddy gives me away, rather than the Bridal song.

I am looking foward to sharing in my excitement with all of you, and I hope you have some good ideas!

:D Congrats! :D

Sounds like fun.

I had a rushed courthouse wedding too, and we talked about doing this, but after watching my brother plan his wedding, I just made Jay promise me a Hawaii vacation for our tenth anniversary.

Congrats and good luck from another person who is getting married (for the first time) soon (January 14).

Someone is a big Rascal Flats fan.....they're OK, but they get played way too much on the radio here for me to want to hear MORE of them.

Congrats

jumpin' back in the fryin' pan a second time isn't for the faint of heart is it?

good luck 007medic

Well on the music side try something other than just Rascal Flats. I help a buddy of mine DJ sometimes and if people are not interested in the music they will not stay at the reception. Boring them with nothing but your favorite band is not going to work. Throw in some Eminem... everyone seems to like to dance to him, Beastie Boys work too. Good luck.

Thats great! All the best to both of you.

Yes, definitely mix up the music. Cloradoemt is right. People get bored quickly.

I hope you also have a huge reception hall. With 300+ of us forum members crashing it, your goona need it!!!!

We are having everything at my parents ranch. There is over 2000 acres for parking and partying! I think that will be big enough.LOL We are going to mix up the music. Matt would go insain if the only thing I had there was country music. About the only thing that we can agree on for music is Poision, White Snake, and other older bands. There will be sever younger generations there so we will definatly have to throw in some other sounds.

Do I hear EMTLIFE get together...

There was a comedian who once said, "people who get married a second time, are like someone who goes to the refrigerator, takes the milk out, realizes that it's sour, puts it back, and tries it again in two weeks."

Here's hoping it's not sour, and congratulations on your marriage.

Welcome back, Luke...

The question should be, Is EMTLife ready for Oklahoma? You all do realize that you will have one stressed out emt on your hand don't you?? I would love to have you all in attendance though! It would be a blast! I have alredy started looking for motels around in the area for out of town guests to attend. If you all would like to be in attendance, I will be more than happy to reserve rooms for you too. Keep in mind that we do not have a date set yet, but I will be happy to inform you of when it is, and if there is anyone who would like to take a vacation at that time I will make arrangements for you. Oh Oh I have an idea. Anyone who wants to come we will schedule you to be here a day or two early and we will have our own party!! We will get sitters for anyone who wants to bring their children, and we will all go out partying to celebrate us all being together, and my getting married! How fun would that be! If you all are serious about making arrangements to be here, let me know. I know that it will depend on the time frame, but we may be able to work something out!!

Motels? 300+ tents, travel trailers or motor homes should fit nicely on 2000 acres! Our own EMT City (and I don't mean the other forum).

That would be great. I will put you all up by the lake.

I take it there are no neighbors close by that we could offend. Things could get a bit, well........................you know.

The closest neighbor where you will be is aobut a mile away. They are use to loud music and people out at our lake.
