At the same time, you also see 17-20 y/o EMTs associated with volunteer services because they are the only ones that hire/allow EMTs that young to ride/drive.

I’m a 19 y/o EMT Intermediate 99 and I work in a full time paid position, but because of my age I’m not covered under the insurance to drive the rig, I get to treat instead of driving

I'm curious, that is it. It's not part of some huge grand information gathering mission. I happen to be a young medic, and you don't see a lot of them around, so I was curious how old everyone else was. Just because it's not useful to you doesn't mean it's not useful to me, and frankly I'm insulted by your comment.

For a more reliable data, you'd probably have to ask an agency like state DOH, NREMT etc. People on forums don't necessary reflect overall population.

Interesting Pol but one complaint. It does not include EMR or EMFR which in europe is equal to EMT so I picked EMT in the pol. We are an international group here afterall.
