Here it goes, I am a 21 year old EMT-B in Oklahoma. I grew up on a 2000 + acre ranch. When I got married to a cop I inherited 2 step daughters, and a "city girl" life, completly NOT me. I still return home quite often (it is 20 minutes away) to help my daddy run the ranch. Right now we are pushing approximatley 500 head of cattle, and 45 head of Clydesdales through our ranch per year. I raise and train clydesdales, and the picture that I have on my postings is when I was crowned Rodeo Queen. I will be happy to post a few more pics, at request. My hubby is a drug task force officer, and Asst. Chief of Police in my hometown. I am currently stressing about finals in my Intermediate class. Just to clarify something (since I was condemned for it in another chat area) 007medic is an ongoing joke around my friends and family. I have not lost a pt yet, and it was catchy, so I used it. Please do not hold it against me. I look foward to meeting and chatting with all of you, and if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask, I will be happy to answer. I do need help with one thing though, I am currently writing a paper on SIDS. I know that it is a difficult subject to speak about seems as how my brother just lost his baby, I understand. Although I like to start all of my presentations with a scenerieo, or story to grab the attention of my audience. If there is anyone who would like to post some infor for me, or a story, I would be honored to use it in my presentation. Thank you all for your hospitality, it is a lot better than some of the other places I have visited. Talk to you soon!

I have worked one SIDs death. Not fun and not much to tell. A beautiful little 3 month old girl. Seams like everything we did was to no avail and no real explanation for it. At the time I really wondered if all my training was worth it. If there is a place for CISDs, then this would be it.

Sorry, I'm not able to help with the catchy phrase and also to hear about your family loss. :(

On another note, don't stress over the intermediate finals. If you know your stuff and you have a good head on your shoulders (I think you do) then it will be a breeze.

If I had seen it, I would not have used his catch phrase...unbunch the panties already. FFEMT8978 seems OK with it already. :rolleyes:
