Hey,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been active on the EMT City website for a few years, and I read all the other EMS websites, but I'm new here. I didn't realize this site was so active. It's great to find other EMT's, medics, and nurses who are as interested in EMS as I am.

I work in California; been on an ambulance for 7 years now, 3 as a medic. Currently I'm jumping through all the hoops required to get into nursing school.

I'm looking forward to learning from you all.

I've been wondering about the zzyzx name also. There are many associations with those letters. Which one is your fancy?

My user name is pretty meaningless, though it is the name of a road off the I15 when you drive from L.A. to Vegas. I should've changed it, but I've had it for years on EMT City, so I'm sticking with it. Nice to meet you all.

EDIT: Well, now that everyone's confused, I assumed your name was "yzzyx". Google it if you want the (incredibly geeky) reference. 10 points if you get it without googling.

MrConspiracy, I did look that up. I didn't get a chance to read the whole Wikipedia entry before we got a call. Something about a magic word in an online game? Yeah, that is pretty geeky! LOL!

EMT City is great. I'm still active on it too.
