EMT Badge? Yes or No.

I just wore whatever was issued. Been at company's where everyone had a metal badge, had sew on, had no badge. Just a part (or not) of the uniform, just like I've had a mix of embroidered name, sew on nametape, pin on name plate... just wear whatever is issued, and I'll echo the whole "do not buy your own" cuz that's just the definition of being a whacker

Please elaborate, I have to know the story about this

Well in NYC, I can understand the need for that

Seem fine for occasions when wearing a dress uniform (formal ceremonies, funerals, parades, etc) but not practical for everyday use in the field.

I'm a code enforcement officer as my full-time gig. We have polo shirts with basically the badge embroidered. We are issued badges which we are to have displayed with the ID card if not wearing the usual uniform, but mostly it stays in a pocket or is used for backup identification. Besides, the ID card is what's important; anyone can have a badge made up
