Does anyone know of an EMS agency either municipal/fire based or hospital/private with heavy 911 work that has a good dispatch system?

That's a very broad question.

What defines good?

We dispatch ourselves, do 95% 911 and just spent 5 million dollars building a fancy new dispatch center to dispatch our 75k calls a year. Blows the fire and LE dispatch centers here outta the water.

We spent all this money but we still are only radio and pagers, no MDTs although the last email they put out stated we were loving towards MDTs.

About damn time! Lol

I guess what I meant was a progressive and well respected EMS agency that has it's own dispatch.

your definition of good is very subjective. ditto your definition of progressive.

There are many EMS dispatch agencies in NJ that pay better than municipal 911 jobs. Just look for them, they are there

Most big systems will dispatch themselves if they're a private or hospital based entity. County or City third services are generally a part of their respective county or city's dispatch center.

Without knowing where you want to live, what you're looking for, what your goals are we can't really give you an answer.
