Has anyone ever had experience or worked as an Onsite Medical rep for Amazon. I am asking because I am seeing a job ad for one and I am wondering if anyone in EMS has ever worked for Amazon.

I interviewed for a position as on-site medical at an Amazon facility in Georgia. The service was contracted through Medcor. It was mostly Occ Health type work. Emergency care was strictly BLS. Lots of OSHA paperwork.

I decided against the job as it sounded mind numbing.

YMMV. Good luck.

I had an EMT friend start there with medcore. Then got a permanent job doing it but employed by Amazon. And now he's a project manager at Amazon working in their pharmacy division.

I know several people who worked EMS and then got jobs as the onsite medical rep. it's mostly paperwork, but pays better than EMS.

Medcor, workcare, and others provide a clinic for employees. I know of a lead instructor/ medic working at one. I worked I've worked in one during covid. It's lots of vision test, drug tests, ( urine and breathalyzer. Hearing tests. Medical evaluation for newhires. Pay was good. I could teach CPR/ first aid or EMR to safety volunteers. Occupational health is great. Need rock solid interpersonal skills and will need further classes. Helps if college credits.
