If you are certified in one state, and decide to move to another state, or live near the state line and have options, is it very complicated to be licensed in more than one state, or to switch states?
I'm curious in general, but I am currently in GA and may have the opportunity to move out of state in a year or two. The classes i'm taking are 8-10 mos long. I'm not certain that i will move though, and i dont want to put off getting certified that long. I thought I read that some states are reciprocal, but that GA isn't.
Any leads to where I could find current and correct info on this subject?

Thanks for helping me with all my newb questions!

If both states use NREMT then it is an easy process

NREMT helps, but the best option is to contact the state you are looking to move to, and ask about their specific process. Typically a call to the DOH or EMS office will give you all the answers you need.

I was licensed in five at once at one point. I'm down to two with a third coming soon. It's not too hard as long as you keep registry
