arriving on scene of a motorcycle crash that when was dispatched there wasnt a 100% for sure location.
Me: medic 86 on scene
Dispatch: medic 86 can you give us a better location of the accident?
Me: 3 tenths of a mile south of the city limits
Dispatch: anything further?
Me...
i do that to. i wouldnt want an ambulance screaming in my neighbor hood when i was trying to sleep unless absolutely necessary. plus the sirens draw out more lookie-loos than just coming in quiet and on the down low.
the last 2 weeks super crazy!!! 2 MI's flown from the scene and 1 seizure that took 12 of Valium and was still seizing.....crazy. makes up for my lack of calls lately. oh well back to the grind again tomorrow!
ahh a sore throat and work. they go swimmingly together!!! thank goodness its only been one call and i handed the radio back to my medic so he could talk cause dispatch cant hear me :-( im ready to go home. maybe a nap will speed things along.
they have to realize that they are representing the school they are attending. i just dont understand how you can take a class and not care about whats on the truck or where it might be. its not my job to have to do my job and babysit at the same time. i got stuff to do and that doesnt involve...
we had a student sunday at work who sat in the recliner and did nothing when it came to checking our trucks or the very few daily chores. im more hacked at the fact that she had NO interest in knowing what is in our trucks and where. GRRRRRR.........

i hate it when they think they know more than me.....ugh! or the ones who assume that they can "assist their medic with giving nitro" while taking the EMT course. uh HELLO??? do you really think that you take EMT to assist your medic?!?!?! LOL
