    nausea in the crash seat

How new of an EMT are you?... Some of your nausea could be from the adrenaline dump/nervousness from the call. Regardless if it's from that or just the movement of the boo boo bus you will get acclimated to it in time!!

IV Sticks - AEMT noob tips and tricks?

Personally, I had more problems with the AC's than more peripheral veins, I know that's kind of weird. A medic told me to take a tourniquet home and put it on, then close my eyes and feel for my own veins, just to get an idea of how they feel and bounce. After doing that I didn't have problems...

    Anaphylaxis!

This is extremely interesting!!!! I'm going to do some more research on all of this, and bring it up to my instructors in class to see if they have ever used an application like this in the field... Great job and way to study more in depth than just what they teach you in class!

    Poor IV access

Linuss i agree that starting lines on a 20 yr. Old healthy pt may be easier than a 84 yr old dehydrated one.. but at the same time combat medics are EXTREMELY good at starting IVS seeing as how there patients can be wounded from gsw or something worse.. and if they have been in battle for 8-9...

    possible stroke pt

Thats exactly what I was thinking, I'm not saying my medic is a bad medic because I've worked with him for about 5 months and he is extremely good at what he does... I just didn't agree with how he handled this call.. I'm in medic school right now, and one of my instructors always says, "it's...
