Be sure to get the 12 edition. If you Google Bradybooks, click on emskit then click to the right till you find 12 edition.

If you are going to use somthing like that to prep with, get either Pearson or Brady (same company) because they make the National Registry. If you dont want to purchase a book, get the online access code for Brady Emergency care 12/e

sorry to bring up an older thread. My class used Brady Emergency Care 12e with the online part as well. Before taking my NR i used the online to take some true/false, multiple choice, and ran through many of the scenario questions (basically all NR is). So if your class used something similar...

doubt they would be interested in hiring me being i don't meet their minimum age requirement, and don't have 2 years exp, like they are requesting. never hurts to ask though

I think it would be hard to get a statistical number in relation being the fact of acceptable actions or quality of care is rated by personal view, unless every unit state wide was discreetly observed and rated on a set rating scale

Imo the quality of operations depends on how much the employee wants to be there. Regardless of where you go, there will be people who could care less if someone is going into cardiac arrest

I am new but I would not for the same reason as many others, we all have family to go home to at the end of the day. Also if something happens they now have at least 2 ppl to care for

Thank you so much As I (and many others) look into all the certs and what not, its kind of thrown at us and no real order. Our instructor never really told us about what to do after NR.
