We arent that lucky lol. But we do have some of the best equipment in the county which I live so thats a plus. I'm not complaining im just saying its a small community and we dont have money to waste on lights for new members

Well I live in a Rural area and if I get behind a farm truck or tractor I need for them to know that I am going down the road for an emergency and I dont have all day to get there.

I recently went on a wreck call in the community where i live and thats im on the rescue squad with.. anyways I was jw why both people had broken backs and how there bp and pulse were so low after a traumatic event such as a wreck down an enbankement.. any suggestions why this happened...

ik its crazy. i was a ride along for a year and some months and i learned alot about myself and the people around me in the community. i really like the fact that i learn something new everyday and that i get to help everyone in the back of that ambulance and mabye save someones life.:)

i hear ya man.. i was always the one in the emt class to try to answer first and if i got it wrong then it was very close... i read the chapters 3 times each to learn the material enough to make a good test grade.... i actually have a learning disability and thought i would have a touch time in...

haha ikr i was very suprised also.. and we have cism where im at so thats a plus but i will for sure talk about it .. thanks for all the comments.

The paramedic Course that is put on by the Community closest to me in VA is a Two year program when you have your basic certification or a One year program if you have your Intermediate Certification with the state of VA. Idk about National Exam they may be different. hope this post helps you
