I would of done same thing. Elevation is 3 and avf. You have reciprocal changes. History of MI. Sounds like a stemi alert to me. Did you do a V4R at all?

When I did skills testing there it was super basic. Applying a tourniquet, splinting a forearm fracture, putting an 02 tank together and inserting an OPA and providing BVM ventilations. There was also a written test that was I think 50 questions that wasn’t difficult, just basic EMT questions

There is multiple Care companies. Which one specifically ?

I never have been a fan of fire based EMS. From my experience in LA/OC, most fire medics are medics because it got them the fire job not because they like to practice medicine. Of course not saying all fire medics are like that but it’s a pointless system that none of Northern California or...

Sounds like esophageal bleed or upper gi bleed of some sorts. Any trauma?

Strange haha might be due to them being part of falck now but when I went through they still were separate with the hiring and job locations and such. I’m not sure about base station, as far as I know they have there Orange County ops in Anaheim, Los Angeles station I think in Santa Fe springs...

I’m guessing this is care in Orange County. When I interviewed with them in past I think it took few weeks till I heard back. If you don’t hear back by end of third week just call HR to follow up

Do you know how much a medic typically makes annually? Sounds like around 60k if OT after 40

I just took my paramedic nremt. Got the results this past Friday saying i passed. Totally thought I failed haha. Stopped me at 82

Bakersfield is bit far for 12 hr shifts but if pay is decent be worth it for being able to work as a primary medic with BLS departments

I saw an opening for 12 hr day shifts in Mojave for hall. Definitely be interested in that! But still waiting on my state card to arrive to start applying places.

Correct and either or. I heard about liberty kern and liberty OC/LA. I’m going to a hiring event in 2 weeks and liberty OC was going to be there along with AMR riverside and San Bernardino.
