    So I have the right to choose my doctor, the hospital and where I want to have my surgery, but I can't choose who I call when I am in the midst of a medical emergency. If I choose to open the phone book rather then call 911contacted provider I think Im well within my rights. No?

    Im pretty sure doing over 100mph in a Kia is going to result in instant death 100% of the time. :) My defense would have been its a Kia it can possibly go over 100mph. :)

    45 in a 35 is alot different from 102 in a 55. Those speeds relate to instant death to anyone in that car and anything that car may imapct.

    I see this with new/inexperienced providers all the time. The thing is they don't have the experience, they follow the regimented step process taught and any deviation from isnt considered, they don't realize yet that there is a hundred different ways to get to where your going, experience...

    I'm sure their using it, they may not verbalize it. It isnt a test where you need patient participation, it should take you fifteen seconds to determine a GCS and you can use it as a baseline.

    I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a deer, it's been a while. People on the outskirts hit them once in a while, but with my own two eyes it's probably been years.

    So maybe it's location dependent, we don't commonly run things over, there isnt usually dead animals in various states of decomposition along our roadways, I have seen a wild deer once in my life. So if we hit something in the street chances are it's going to be a person and not wildlife.
