I understand there are old posts about AMR San Diego, but I was hoping to get updated information. I am going to schedule an interview and was trying to get info on pay, working conditions(dont laugh), and any tidbits someone could provide. Thank you so much.

That's true. But coming from someone who has been going to Hawaii, and Oahu in particular, my whole life. It is not common whatsoever for someone not from Hawaii to get hired there. They predominantly hire from their life guards.

I did CIEMT and it was good. Mine was an accelerated course so a few hours of studying every night was about right and I did fine. Just pay attention and take good notes.

I got lucky somehow and made it through. I have heard of a lot of people not passing that exam.

Just worked with one of them this last week. Such a sweet person. Gosh this is hard.

That looks so clean and user friendly. The place I used to work at was like you were saying with the tabs and having to jump back and forth and stuff reverting back to default times. It was a painstaking process to say the least.

I remember my "0" shift I had a different preceptor than who I was supposed to have. We had a car into a structure with I believe 6 patients. Great way to get started. And the preceptor thought it was my first shift and chewed me out good.

Definitely going to be putting in for that. Was told last month only part time spots were open so it's time to re-contact.

I will at least put it off until I start haha.:cool:

To all the AMR Riverside folks here. I will be joining you soon. Got my second interview on October 8th.

Gonna be putting my app in early this next week. Sounds like a great place for experience.
