ProTransport (Bay Area) - EMT B VS EMT I

Does anyone know if ProTransport requires EMT I? Their application says the position is for EMT-1 but the requirements say EMT. Also, a few of my classmates recently scored jobs there and I believe they are currently EMT Bs.

California calls EMT-Basic "EMT-I" as in "EMT-1" or the first level of EMT. It is not "intermediate" but the person who decided that we should still use this convention is an "idiot."

Yep. We only have emt and medics. No Is that I know of unless it's super rural but even then I doubt it

I've been up there for my brother and I see like 50 pro transport ambulances every day.

they have the stanford contract (and the childrens hospital i believe) so all transports have to go through them first before they ask other companies.
