Took the NREMT- Paramedic exam on 1/28/14, found out the next AM i had passed. Ended at 79 questions.... gah I hate adaptive tests! Glad thats over! Now onto more state paperwork and $$ lol:blink:

It's alot simpler than u think, you must first of all get your nremt , and from there you can apply to be certified with the county, which is accepted statewide. if I recall simi valley is Ventura? County cert involves fingerprinting, background etc. from there you can apply wherever you please...

We use Schedule force, Seems like a well managed system, It only does scheduling though, would be nice to have it integrated with timekeeping as well

Did you do your EMT class at mjc? Is peggy still there teaching the first responders class?

Monterey County is looking to attain a Level II designation. But as you stated, alot of the population is uninsured, and I'm not totally sure that it would be feasible given the amount of fly-out.. But I will leave that to the EMS director to decide.

Yes you got it correct, once you certify initially with any county, you will get a state card mailed to you that will cover all of cali. So much better than before
